Episode 1
Turn This Mother Out
|
Has taken over temporarily is Bishop's stead. Meets with vampire Tommy and tell him he'll take care of him. Meets with Hegeman and the Council and Mother. Mother decrees Aidan will be her daughter's second in command and he is to help her take control of Boston, when he does he will be free of the vampire world. Tells Josh that he is being a "pinch" to harsh and that Josh may need to pull Aidan back from his vampire life. Is attacked by Tommy and a few others, kills Tommy. Digs up Mother's daughter.

Episode 2
Do You Really Want To Hurt Me
|
Takes a very withered Suren to feed on a lot of blood then takes her to her room and tells her he no longer live feeds. Is told by Sally that Josh turned Nora. Finds out from Josh that Nora killed Hegeman. Meets with Suren to talk to her about finding someone to take over doing Bishop's old job. Find out that Aidan and Suren were once together in the Halloway Hotel. Meets a woman in the hospital halls who is trying to get a job there. Gets a call from Suren to come to the hotel were Aidan is introduced to a woman cop who Aidan is suppose to turn. When he says he can't, Suren tells Aidan that he will or she'll have mother's attention turn to the missing vampire Hegeman. Suren tells Aidan she looked up to him as a killer, Aidan tell Suren that he's helping her because he gets freedom from the vampire world. Goes to a bar and runs into the woman he met at the hospital early, her name, we learn, is Julia. Aidan is seen kissing her and leaving the bar with her.

Episode 3
All Out Of Blood
|
Find out Aidan has been seeing Julia for 3 weeks, but it has been a lot of casual sex. Aidan drinks blood to stop the urge to bite during sex. Aidan reveals to his roommates that he is seeing someone human and wants a normal relationship. Josh chides Aidan about his blood "hypothesis". Aidan finds out that Julia is Josh's ex fiance. He is confronted by Josh about Julia and Aidan tells Josh that Julia was deeply hurt by Josh's actions. Is interviewed by nurse Zoe, per Sally's request. Finds out the hospital is putting the blood under lock and key. Aidan is suffering from lack of blood and tells Sally that if he doesn't get blood, he will binge, and become something she wouldn't recognize. Confronted by Julia and tells her that their relationship is over and lies to her telling her it was always just casual sex, nothing more. Aidan goes to a blood prostitute and drinks live.

Episode 4
(I Loathe You) For Sentimental Reasons
|
Aidan goes to see the blood prostitute again, but she denies him and tells him to come back and visit Darla later. Learns from Josh that he helped a psych ward werewolf patient escape. See Aidan's past with Suren. He's taking care of Suren like a nurse maid, but we find out that there is an attraction between them. Present day Aidan is called by Suren to check out a "mob guy " that wants to take over doing clean ups and anything else the police don't usually handle, including handling Bishop's orphans (bringing one of them to Suren and Aidan) , in exchange for turning him. Aidan fights with Suren about this issue. Once again back in the past we meet Henry, a vampire Aidan has turned himself. Aidan argues with Henry about moving up in the power ranks of the vampire by using Suren. Aidan disputes that it isn't wise to play with the powerful ruling vampires. Present day, Aidan goes to see Darla, who turns out to be only a child and Aidan runs. His no blood situation worsens. In the past we see Aidan and Suren's sexual tension heighten they both dream about if they had just randomly met how things would be different, but Aidan comes to reality and shuts Suren down. In the present, Aidan gives Josh advice about the werewolves to say yes to them and let them help. Aidan then calls Suren and tells her that they should go ahead and turn the mob guy. Back in the past, Henry has listened into Aidan and Suren's moment and thinks they should act of their feelings. Aidan says if he does, he'll be forced to leave, and says Suren isn't ready to give up a the royal life. Aidan shows up at the hotel with Suren and the mob guy, and starts to feed on him. In the past we see Aidan has made a decision to be with Suren, buying train tickets to go away with her. However, he finds Suren and Henry together. Present day we see that Aidan is not stopping his drinking, Suren doesn't stop him and they both drink from the mob guy.

Episode 5
Addicted To Love
|
Aidan looks to be in a trance and we learn he has been drinking a lot with Suren at the hotel, as well as engaging in a lot of sex with her. He tries to tell Suren that they need to get back to work, but is quickly brought back to feeding live. Aidan finds out that Sally is possessing people to satisfy her sexual need. Sally throws back in Aidan's face that he doesn't look hungry anymore. We flashback to 1930 where Aidan finds Henry having sex with some random woman. Aidan warns Henry that Suren is royalty and possessive and that he should be messing around. Aidan tells Henry he spared him because of Suren. Back to present, Suren and Aidan lay naked in the basement of the hotel, Aidan is very drunk on his blood and can barely speak. Suren and Aidan are summoned by mother and then chided that they have no yet dealt with Bishop's children. Aidan finds Josh talking to a woman named Janet who Sally had possessed and is now remembering Sally's memories. Aidan stops Josh from chiding Sally saying she needs to stop possessing on her own. Aidan meets up with Suren, who tells Aidan he needs to help her find Bishop's kids or Aidan's freedom deal is off. Aidan says he knows where a nest is, and that he's known all along. They go to the funeral parlor where Bishop was stationed. While on his own, Aidan finds Henry. He hears Suren and says that she can't find Henry running to meet her. He tells her that he found nothing.

Episode 6
Mama Said There'd Be Decades Like These
|
Aidan visits a run down blood den, where many orphans are feeding. He finds one particular vampire and tells her that he's looking for Henry and want to leave him a message. He then leaves telling them to pack up and leave. Aidan goes to get completely blood drunk and while in an almost lost drunken state, Aidan sees Bishop. Bishop tells him that it's not his imagination, and that Aidan has seen visions of people, like his wife, before in this state. Bishop tells him that Aidan craves power and wants to lead, to which Aidan disagrees. But they decided to find Henry to kill him. We are taken back to 1918 where Aidan and Henry are returning from war and met by Bishop. Henry is clearly the new guy, and while Aidan speaking highly of him, Bishop isn't so convinced, but talking about the surprises of fatherhood that Aidan will be experiencing. At the same docks, but in the present Aidan thinks he'll find Henry there, but instead talks with Bishop again. Bishop tells Aidan that Henry was not a good man, instead a man that betrayed him. At home Aidan catches up with Josh. Josh tells Aidan that Nora murdered her ex, and that he needs his help. But Bishop has followed Aidan home as well and Aidan is influenced by Bishop. He denies Josh help. Aidan finds out that Josh still has Hegeman's rifle. Aidan shows up at dinner to meet Sally's mom and her mom's boyfriend. Aidan is acting strange however. The doorbell rings in the middle of dinner, however after things had gone downhill, and Henry is there to greet him. Later, Henry explains that he wants to come back to the family and that he doesn't want to take Suren away from Aidan, that he has matured over 80 years. Aidan also finds out that Henry has been leading the orphan vampires. Aidan tells Henry that he can't come back and with Bishop's influence, he starts to fight Henry. Aidan is about ready to stake Henry but stops saying he can't do it, and that he needs to help Henry somehow.

Episode 7
The Ties That Blind
|
Aidan is in the kitchen, when he turns around the chairs are stacked impossibly on the kitchen table. Josh comes down to join Aidan and Sally already discussing the crazy ghost-like things that are happening around the apartment. Aidan and Josh both blame Sally and ask her to figure it out. At the hospital, one of the Dutch, Hadley approaches Aidan and says that he wishes to find out what happened to Hegeman. Aidan tries to pass off Hegeman's disappearance as rumors. Aidan finds Josh in the locker room at the hospital. Aidan confronts Josh about the cops that were questioning him, Josh lies, and Aidan calls him out on it. Aidan explains to Josh that he has created a mess out of the lies he's told and that Aidan has to clean it up and will get in trouble for it--as well as Josh--and that it propels him further from his "freedom". Aidan calls Cecilia and leaves her a message telling her he knows that Josh talked with her. He smells two wolves. Sally finds Aidan and says that Danny sent the reaper after her. At the hospital Aidan asks her about her concerns. Aidan finds an article saying that Danny was killed in prison. He then tells Sally that Danny is a new ghost and doesn't know what he's doing, and that Sally should stay at the hospital besides going home--until Aidan can get there--to avoid Danny. Trying again to call Cecilia he gets a hold of Connor instead who says that Cecilia is dead unless he meets the wolf twins under the full moon. Aidan goes to the Hotel to get Hadley's help in defeating the wolves and getting Cecilia back. Aidan goes to the shed alone--after Hadley comes up with a plan where Aidan plays bait to lure them out to where he is. Aidan shows up and finds the wolf Twins, Josh and Nora. Josh admits to turning the twins in, Aidan turns vampy, and demands to know where Cecilia is. The Twins say it is a game where they chase Aidan and Aidan tries to get to Cecilia. Aidan runs out to find Cecilia. He runs into Hadley and warns him about the four wolves to which Hadley runs away from. We see Aidan carrying a silver knife that Josh gave him back when they first moved in together. Aidan finds Cecilia and the wolves start to close in around him. Nora attacks him, and Aidan manages to cut her and throw her away from himself. Cecilia says that she's lost too much blood, the bullets for the gun are back at the shed and that he needs to leave her in order to get away. Aidan gets away. He shows up at the shed the next day and shoots Connor dead, he tosses Josh the gun, takes the dead--now wolf--body of Connor with him. Aidan meets Hadley, gives him the wolf body and tells him to make up whatever story he wants to about Hegeman's death. Aidan arrives at home and sees Sally remembering that he said he would be back to help Sally. He walks upstairs with Josh.

Episode 8:
I've Got You Under Your Skin

Aidan is talking to Sally about her reaper problems, he doesn't believe it's a reaper at first, but is interrupted by Josh and Emily coming downstairs. He declines Emily's offer to go out saying he has plans. Aidan tells Sally that she needs to kill the reaper. Aidan meets with Suren and explains the situation with the orphans. Suren proceeds to tell Aidan that she told Mother that the orphans were all executed. Suren said she didn't have a choice and that Aidan wasn't there when he was trying to take care of Josh. Aidan goes to see Henry. Aidan tells him about Suren's plan and tells him to round up the orphans to Henry's house, as many as he can. Those that make it will live, but only those that make it to the house. He says he has a plan to save Henry. We see Suren spying on the two of them down the street. Aidan goes to the house with Henry where the orphan vampires have all meet up. Aidan tells them that they all need to leave Boston and they can start a new there. Suren makes a deal with the human who is housing the vampires. Making a deal to uninvite the vampires in the house. Aidan rushes out the door with Henry locking the door behind on all the vampires who die. Aidan tells Henry that he made a deal with Henry to sacrifice all the orphans for Henry's life. When Henry says he wants to stay Aidan says that he'd have to bring him before Suren, which would be a bad idea after everything they had been through. Aidan bring Henry to Suren. Henry tells Suren if she can't accept him, to kill him. He pleads that he has changed and Aidan says he wants Henry by his side. Suren says to Henry that he will have to pay to Mother and her the betrayal he caused early on. Suren suggests a painful punishment. Aidan tells Henry that doing this will placade Mother and Suren. Aidan tells Suren that this punishment will show Mother that she is fit to rule. Aidan reminds Suren to keep Henry alive when he comes back. Aidan leaves Henry to Suren. Aidan comes in and finds Sally. He asks what happened to Sally, but Sally doesn't want to talk about it, saying the reaper isn't a problem. When Aidan asks if she learned anything about herself she says she's still learning and disappears. Aidan agrees.

Episode 9:
When I Think About You I Shred Myself
|
Aidan shows up at his own doorstep and pleads Josh to let him and Henry in. He tells Josh that Henry is his son and needs to heal. When Henry says he should just die, Aidan says that he's going to help him. Flashback to France 1918, Aidan is being brought into the medical tent by other soliders saying Aidan took out a lot of men but got seriously injured in the process. We see a human Henry start tending to Aidan, pulling out bullet wounds. Aidan goes to get food for Henry and Sally says she's not going to babysit, to which Aidan assures her that she doesn't have to do anything. Aidan brings home two girls who think they are all headed to a party and want to scram when they realized it's not. Aidan compels them both to think they want to come in and then compels them both to think that Henry, who is skinless, is the most beautiful man they have ever seen. Flashback to 1918 and Henry is reading to Aidan. Henry sees that Aidan is healing on his own as well. When Henry tries to get a doctor, Aidan stops him saying that he kills or be killed, but Henry says that he could never do it. Henry is called to another patient. When Aidan doesn't think anyone is looking he takes a blood rag and sucks the blood out of it. But a patient sees him and starts raving about it, telling Henry that Aidan is a vampire and will kill them all. Henry explains that the patient is suffering from shell shock. In the present Henry feeds on the compelled girls while Aidan watches. When Henry wants to kill them, Aidan stops him. However, both of the girls compelling starts to wear off and both begin freaking out at to what is happening. Aidan breaks both girls necks. Back in the past we see the shell shocked patient try to kill Aidan, when Henry interceeds, Henry gets stabbed. He tells Aidan he doesn't want to die and Aidan drinks Henry's blood and then proceeds to kill everyone in the tent. Henry wakes up a vampire now, with Aidan who tell Henry that he needs to kill. In the present Aidan watches "clean up" take away the dead girl bodies. Henry thanks Aidan and invites him to lunch but Aidan turns him down. Josh approaches and meets Henry and comments on how Henry's better. Henry leaves and Josh chides Aidan that Aidan can't bring things like Henry home. Aidan says that it was the last time and that it won't happen again. Aidan walks into the the apartment with Josh just in time to see Sally kill Nick. Aidan tries to tell Sally that she belong, but is forced to disappate Sally with their firepoker when she threatens them. When Sally is contained with salt, Aidan stops Josh from letting her go.

Episode 10:
Dream Reaper
|
Josh and Aidan talk about what to do with Sally. However they start to argue about the problems they each have been dealing with. Aidan learns that it is a full moon that night and Josh learns that Aidan is withdrawling from live blood. Josh suggests going to find Zoe, agreeing not to say anything about Nick. Aidan goes to the hospital in search for Zoe. He is distracted by people giving blood, when Zoe finally find him, Zoe says she doesn't want to see Sally after she killed the ghost support group. Aidan brings Zoe home. Zoe explains that they need to talk to her, but Josh says she's not responding. The Reaper locks them all inside the apartment. Josh argues with Aidan again. Zoe prepares to mind meld with Sally and Josh snaps Aidan out of his blood lust. The Reaper wakes up in Sally and reveals to Josh and Aidan that they could've stopped the Reaper if they had spent more time with Sally, and she reveals to Zoe that Nick is dead. With Zoe now in tears, Josh and Aidan end up telling Zoe they are on a time table with Josh's change. While Zoe mind melds and Josh trys to find a way to contain his turn, Aidan is finding it difficult not to blood lust after an unconscience Zoe. Aidan begins feeding on Zoe and Josh pulls him off. Aidan tells Josh that he doesn't know what to do, because he needs blood and things got out of control. Josh offers his blood, but Aidan tells him he doesn't know what werewolf blood will do. They agree on drinking it anyway, and suddenly Aidan does feel REALLY good, but then suddenly REALLY bad. Aidan coughs up blood. Aidan screams waking up Sally from her dream. Josh leaves Aidan with Sally. Aidan tells her she looks better, and asks Zoe if she's ok. Aidan says that he needs to sleep off whatever happened to him.
